The CO-OPP 2005 Government Expo held their first Reverse Trade Fair, titled "Create Connections - Business Meets Government" on Tuesday October 18th, 2005 at Aladdin Shrine Temple.

The CO-OPP event provided the Central Ohio Business Community wishing to do business with government entities an opportunity to meet with Ohio's public purchasing officials from all level of government (local, county and state). The workshops provided gave business attendees information on who is buy, what is being purchased and how to submit a successful competitive bid.

2005 CO-OPP GOVERNMENT EXPO

 

There were 38 registered government entities; of that number 32 of the entities were represented by 104 entity representatives. There were 392 registered vendor companies with 413 representatives. There were 42 vendor walk-in registrations on the day of the event.

The event was well received by the vendor community who were overwhelmingly pleased with the workshops, one-on-one meetings, networking opportunities and ability to contact so many different government entities in one location at a time.

The Government Expo Reverse Trade Fair was another successful CO-OPP event due to the hard work of all the committee members.
