CO-OPP IS NIGP's 2004 Mid-Size Chapter of the Year!
During its record-breaking 59th Annual Forum and Products Exposition in Biloxi, Mississippi, the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing announced the recipients of several national awards issued by the institute. The Central Ohio Organization of Public Purchasers received the 2004 Mid-Size Chapter of the Year award.
The NIGP Chapter of the Year award is the highest award presented to NIGP chapters. The chapters are evaluated by a panel of chapter peers based on established criteria, which judge their contribution to their community, to the citizens they serve and to the purchasing profession..
CO-OPP -- founded in 1994 -- is a dynamic organization composed of more than 125 public purchasing and materials management professionals representing the federal government, state of Ohio, cities, counties, townships, colleges, libraries and various other political subdivisions throughout Ohio.
